Our 10′ long MC 2000 & 2100 aluminum extrusions were engineered to provide a high performance mounting system for FunderMax, Trespa Meteon and other rainscreen sheet cladding products.
So what is the difference between MC 2000 & 2100? The difference is that MC 2000 should be used where a horizontally installed extrusion is more appropriate. MC 2100 should be used where a solid substrate (CMU block or concrete) or horizontally installed sub-girts exist in a deep cavity system. The MC 2000 & MC 2100 can be used in combination with each other to achieve maximum airflow and economy.
Both the MC 2000 & MC 2100 feature a “H” and “J” section for all mounting conditions.
- 10’0″ lengths
- MC 2000 is perforated for unlimited thermal air movement through horizontal conditions
- MC 2100 is non-perforated for maximum cost savings in vertical applications
- Exposed sides are painted black
- Aluminum alloy 6005AT61 for excellent strength and corrosion resistance
